Tonja M. Brickhouse
Colonel Tonja M. Brickhouse served as the Chief, Air Transportation Division, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Colonel Brickhouse provided policy and guidance to organize, train and equip aerial port and traffic management units at 14 major active air installations in the U.S., and 17 en route locations around the world. She was responsible for cargo, passenger, intransit visibility, equipment, training and resources, business analysis, and traffic management policy and procedures for Air Mobility Command. Colonel Brickhouse also assisted in the readiness of almost 10,000 people in the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard, providing total force augmentation to support flexible, global reach for America.
Colonel Brickhouse earned her commission in 1982 through AFROTC following graduation from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. As a career logistician, she has commanded a transportation squadron, served as a deputy group commander, and led transportation, logistics and mission support management initiatives at the squadron, group, NAF, MAJCOM, Joint Staff and OSD levels.
