Each year, COTBHC rewards students for their scholastic achievements. Students are motivated to dream, achieve, and grow while utilizing scholarship funds to obtain a degree from the university of their choice.

Annual Scholarship Opportunities

We encourage award recipients to maintain good grades and to be involved in collegiate and community leadership. Applications for the 2024 season are now available for download. Submisisons must be received by Friday, April 12, 2024.

Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony

The City of Tampa Black History Committee, Inc. presented the 2023 Scholarship Awards to celebrate the scholastic achievements of our students. The ceremony grants parents, city officials, and supporters like you the opportunity to celebrate what is best about our youth, while awarding scholarships to outstanding high school graduates.
