Kobi-Skye Padgett
Kobi-Skye is an exceptional scholar and leader, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout high school. Her academic excellence is underscored by her membership in the National Honors Society, National English Honor Society, and National Social Science Honor Society, alongside consistent Headmaster’s List recognition.
A dedicated advocate for social justice, Kobi-Skye received the Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass Award and was inducted into the College Board’s African American/Indigenous Recognition Program. She was also awarded Berkeley Preparatory School’s 50th Anniversary Service Scholar Award for her initiative, The Carry On Project.
Beyond academics, Kobi-Skye participated in the Global Scholars Program, demonstrating a commitment to international relations. Her passion for law and public policy is evident through her recognition as a Berkeley Legal Institute Laureate and a Berkeley National Security Institute Laureate.
Accepted into several top universities, including Columbia, Cornell, Stanford, Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, and FSU, Kobi-Skye will attend Princeton University. She aspires to become an attorney, driven by a profound commitment to dismantling systemic inequities and advocating for legislative reforms that champion justice and human dignity.
