Mykera Pedroso is a senior high school student attending Jefferson High School where she is a member of the National Honor Society, the Junior Achievement, and she is one of the Deputy Corps Commanders of the JROTC program. As a JROTC Commander, she is responsible for over 100 students, 12 programs and she has organized 8 different community service events.  Mykera was also responsible for organizing four different morale events, one of them being the formal Military Ball. Under Mykera’s leadership, seven different local high school committed to attendance including over 400 cadets. Her dedication to her cadets and willingness to assist in any capacity, has made her a valuable member of the Junior Reserves Officers Corporation Organization.

Mykera is an exceptional leader who mentors others, and she makes a difference in lives of others every day. She plans to attend Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
