Naarah Miller
Naarah Miller is a senior high school student attending Armwood High School where she is enrolled in the Armwood Collegiate Academy, the Key Club, the Environmental Science Club and the National Honor Society. Juggling various responsibilities of multiple club memberships and attending the Collegiate Academy requires an enormous amount of tenacity, perseverance and dedication. The academy is extremely rigorous and requires additional study efforts and a steady academic focus. In addition to her studies, Naarah devotes many volunteer hours at the Cromartie Group Home Inc. She was introduced to the facility because she has a relative who lives nearby. Cromartie Group Home, Inc. is a licensed Residential Treatment Facility for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities.
Since her volunteering began at the facility some time ago, the staff has learned to leverage Naarah’s many skills and abilities to assist patients with their daily medical and physical needs. Naarah plans to attend Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University and pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a minor degree is Social Science.
