Dr. Angela Hill, Keynote

Dr. Angela Hill is a professor and Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs at the USF Health Taneja College of Pharmacy. She is a licensed Consultant pharmacist who has a wealth of experience and specialization in mental health, neurological disorders, alternative medicine and geriatrics. She has worked in academia, community and hospital practice, and provided consultant pharmacy services for organizations like Medicaid, the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, long-term care facilities, and specialty clinics in the areas of Memory Disorders, Parkinson’s, Epilepsy, ADHD, Neuroleptic Review, Clozaril, and Multiple Sclerosis Clinics over the span of her career.

Dr. Hill’s clinic and research focus is in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, which includes research on biomarkers, vaccines, disease-modifying therapies, and medical foods being investigated for treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. She has also provided services in three different Memory Disorder Clinics in the State of Florida, and worked with various Brain Health Awareness programs, and geriatric care for over two decades. Additionally, Dr. Hill is a pharmacy consultant for the USF Neuroscience Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute and program director for WE-CARE, which is the College’s community engagement and research recruitment arm.

Dr. Hill received her Pharm.D. from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and completed a residency in Neurology at the Neuroscience Foundation Inc. She is married to Mr. Thaddeus Hill and mother of their daughter Sylvia Hill. She attends Carmel Friendship Church and is a member of Delta Sigma theta Sorority, Inc., the FAMU Diamondback Pharmacy Alumni Council, and numerous professional pharmacy organizations.
